The wind of change. Ветер перемен.

And so came the wind of change! My wind...kind of like in “Mary Poppins”!

Ironically, my last post entitled “Siesta time” transformed into summer hibernation- couldn't approach the computer or the sewing machine for the entire month! And I didn't even get the chance to show you the rabbits and the scarf which were long done by then. Then my suddenly awoken interest for sewing turned into a serious obsession. The result- a rapidly growing mountain of dolls, quite literally! Once I was done making one, I'd immediately move onto the next one, without even making a stand, so they just ended up lying there forming into a little mountain.

Although I did end up making stands for some of them- I guess those will be the ones I'll talk about first.

Meanwhile, I got an award! Olga OlchankA was the one to nominate me for which I want to say big thanks! Its always nice, but I got a little intimidated. Lets face it, my computer skills leave a lot to be desired, so I needed some time before figuring out all of the rules, pick all of the blogs since I was head deep into the sewing! However, I did pick the blogs by now, and will be reporting in the near future.

I also had the idea to do a blog post about a Mary Poppins doll that I was making. However the Tilda style does not suit such delicate little doll, ,so I decided to make the Korean cloth doll. For the first time! So I printed out the pattern, made it- and she turned out to be so tiny! Little did I know I had to enlarge it before printing- she is smaller than your regular Barbie! I also made a coat for her, but it just looked so rough, and now she is just lying there unattended. Highly doubt that I'll get around to finishing her. Although I might get some crazy idea for her, the body turned out fantastic, I might show it to you sometime. All right, seems like I've justified my absence.

Now onto the rabbits! I was determined to make my own original pattern, so that the ears can be sewing into the seam- quickly and neatly. I stopped making them after the 3^rd sample. Turns out I was pretty much inventing the bicycle again- the pattern already existed! And it did not occur to me to google it. Although the ones I've seen were bears and cats, never a bunny, perhaps someone has made it before, but I find comfort in assuming that this little bit was entire my idea. And so, here they are. The Bride was made for an order I got in May, the Groom is still here. I'll probably have to make him another partner by the time my craft show comes in November.

 

Итак, подул ветер перемен. Мой ветер! Как в «Мери Поппинс»!

По иронии, мой последний пост в блоге “Siesta time” (время послеобеденного сна) перерос в спячку! Целый месяц я не могла подойти ни к машинке, ни к компьютеру. Даже не показала зайцев и шарф, которые были уже закончены. Потом появившийся интерес к шитью вылился в абсолютную зависимость. В результате у меня гора нашитых кукол. В прямом смысле слова! Закончив шить одну, тут же начинала другую, даже не сделав подставку. Так и лежат они горкой!

Ну некоторым то я сдела стоечки — вот с них наверное и начну показ.

А тем временем меня наградили! Оля Олчанка присвоила мне награду! Спасибо, Большое! Приятно, конечно, но это немного меня испугало. Все таки в компьютере я не очень сильна, надо время было на выясненеие условий размещения, да и выбрать блоги тоже надо время. А я же вся в шитье! Но, блоги я уже выбрала, и в ближайшее время отчитаюсь!

И была еще идея начать писать с показа Мэри Поппинс! Но! Тильда для столь утонченной особы не подойдет. Решила сшить тряпиенсу. Первый раз! Распечатала выкройку, сшила — а она маленькая получилась. Надо было увеличивать при печати. Размер ее меньше чем Барби. Пальто я кое как сшила, но смотрится оно грубо, и лежит она теперь не восстребованная. И закончу я ее врядли. Ну может быть прийдет идея, все таки тело получилось фигуристое! Как нибудь и ее покажу. Потому как заняла она пару недель моего времени. Ну вот, вроде бы оправдалась в своем отсутствии.

Теперь о зайцах! Задумала я сделать свою выкройку, что бы уши вшивались сразу — и ровно и быстро! Отшила 3 образца, на четвертом остановилась. И оказалось, что я изобретала велосипед. Нет бы погуглить выкройки. Уже существует такая — спинка целая, а перед из двух деталей. Правда видела я таких медведей и котов, зайцев никто не шил по ней. А может и шил. Ну мне приятнее думать что это хоть маленькое, но мое изобретение! Итак, вот они. Невесту я шила на заказ, ее заврали еще в мае, а жених так и стоит. Надо ему перед выставкой другую пару сшить.

And this is something that I wanted to post back in May, prior to suffering from my writers block. Although it doesnt look as cute as it did back then...but here is a nest with some baby birds right outside of our house. You can practically reach out and touch them if you go up the stairs. What a braven bird! Maybe its just a calm spot for them, despite of we get regular racoon visits on the balcony and a couple of coyotes passing by.

А вот то, что я собиралась показать вам еще в мае! Сейчас это уже не вызывает умиления, как весной, но все таки... Это гнездо с птенцами рядом с соседней дверью. Поднявшить на ступеньки можно было дотянуться рукой до птенчиков! Вот такая бравая птичка! А может у нас тут место спокойное для них. Хотя еноты иногда на балкон захаживают, и койоты изредка пробегают.

My handmade family. Моя рукодельная семейка.

Today would be nothing new! This is a  interim result of my doll-making hobby. As I've said before, I've participated in a showcase for a place in a craft show. And I got it! Hoooray! Even though this event is still far away, I try to sew every day. Although having a baby slows down the process and I can't spend as much time on it as I would like. For me, it takes 2-3 days to make one doll! On the picture, I caught my little helper with a very happy smile. He thought all of this was just for him! Not a chance! Mommy just decided to take a picture of all her dolls! So, this is the handmade family that went with me to the showcase. And below is my second sheep. First one was sold 2 days before the exhibition day.

 

Сегодня я ничего нового не принесла. Этот пост как бы промежуточный итог моего тильдо-игрушкошитья. Как я уже писала в предыдущем сообщении, я учавствовала в просмотре для участия в выставке-продаже. И я получила место. Уррра! Хотя еще далеко до этого события, я стараюсь шить каждый день. С маленьким ребенком сложно уделить времени столько, сколько хочется. Поэтому пока что у меня получается одна кукла за 2-3 дня. На фото я запечатлела моего помошника с довольной улыбкой. Он то думал что это все для него! А не тут то было. Мама просто решила выставить все свои игрушки в ряд. Вот с этой дружной семейкоя я и ездила на просмотр. Ну и ниже моя вторая овечка. Первая была продана за 2 дня до просмотра.

 

Goose #2. Гусь №2.

Right after my first goose was sold, I had to rush to make another one. I was invited to showcase for craft show, which will take place in November. Because this is an old historic mansion with only 35 open places, the new vendors are subjected to voting in order to see who gets the spot. The repeat sewing process was much easier. Outfit was chosen in a pale shade, exactly in Tilda style. Just with a small accent – a green pocket. And this is what came out!

 

Как только продалась моя первая гусыня, надо было срочно сшить ей замену. Потому как меня пригласили на просмотр для выставки-продажи, которая состоится в ноябре. Но так как это исторический особняк с количеством 35 мест, то для новичков они устраивают «смотрины», и потом голосованием решают, кому дать место. А я как раз продала пару игрушек, и моя коллекция поредела. Повтор шить было уже легче. Одежду решила сделать более спокойной расцветки. Почти тильдовские штаны. Только акцент в виде зеленого кармашка добавила. Ну и вот что получилось.

 

“JJJ” story. История трех J.

I have a bookshelf in my sewing corner filled with really nice fabric that I've bought on numerous sales over a period of time. Some of them for me, some for Maksim. In one of these Fabricland trips I saw a white/navy striped terry. And of course I bought it without a purpose. Maybe for a hoodie for Maksim or to be used as a lining for jacket. It was like a bright spot in the big pile of other fabrics. Every time I passed by the shelf, it would “jump” right at me. But this is wasn't a Tilda colour at all, where would I use it?! Then one day it hit me! I've already made a bunny body, just without the ears, I usually make them last, when the outfit is done. The distinct white/navy stripes were “scratching” me with their Doppler effect...so, I took it and made sweater. The best match for this in my opinion, is denim. I used a scrap piece from a pair of jeans that I had to shorten earlier. This bunny had such a vacation/sea feel to her that I've decided to sew a seahorse for her! The name that was picked is Jeannie! Jeannie Jeans! During the process I already knew to whom she'll belong- Judy! (my friend and neighbor). These are, after all, her favourite colours. So, this is my happy accident “JJJ” story!

 

В моем швейном закутке стоит шкаф со всеми швейными принадлежностями. И две нижние полки заполняют ткани. Всякие. Покупала их задолго до моего увлечения куклами. Что то для себя, а после рождения Максима — для него. В очередную вылазку в магазин ткани, увидела полосатую веллюровую ткань на распродаже. Купила просто так, думая пошить сыночку толстовочку или на подклад в курточку. И лежал этот отрез в стопке ярким пятном. Каждый раз проходя мимо он бросался в глаза. Ну он же не тильдовский. И вот в один день он меня достал. Зайка была уже готова к сбору, кроме ушей. Я их последними шью, когда уже выбран наряд. Яркие бело-синие полоски царапались своим доплеровским эффектом. Ну в общем достала я его и сшила свитерок зайке. А лучшая ткань компаньот для нее — джинс. Остаток от укороченых джинсов. И так повеяло морским чем то от нее, что решила я дать ей в руки морского конька. И имя придумалось созвучное джинс — Джинни. В процессе шитья я уже знала, где она будет жить. У Джуди (моей соседки-подруги). Это ее любимое сочетание цветов. Вот такая тройная J (Джинни, джинс, Джуди) история.

 

Indie Babylonian. Инди Вавилонская.

So, the craving for sewing and writers block is finally gone. During this period I've made 6 tildas and 2 bunnies. Also I finally finished my scarf and knit spring hat for Maksim. Creative-crafty period culminated in development of my very own bunny pattern. And now in order of occurrence.

Right after I finished the goose (at 11 pm), which was sold in a couple days, I decided to put together a tilda bear. I already had stuffed parts, all that was needed is to join them and sew on a purple heart and ears. This was a request from a customer. When I went to get needle I saw the pair of pants which I've made for the chocolate bunny that turned out to be small. So, I got the idea to try them on the bear. VERY snug. It's simply impossible to take them off, unless you cut them, which I won't ever have the nerve to do. I immediately thought of an olive-green headband, courtesy of a local $10 for 10 store, from which I constructed a full sweater- elastic band for the sleeves and the wide part for the body. And so there she was, clad in all of my favourite colours, very “Pretty in pink khaki”. My own wardrobe consists of several pants and tops of the like colours, to which Angelina kindly noted, when I yet again reached out for a pair of swampy-green trousers in the store- “Mom, look at yourself, you already look like Indiana Jones and sill manage to grab an identical pair!”. So you can probably guess her name- Indie! She, of course, required a satchel, one that matches the colour of her ears with some details from the leftover sweater with bead accents. And this is where it all started. And by “it” I mean the crazy creative flow which resulted in a matching beaded broach and a conclusion that Indie is a poster-bear for all of my favourite crafts: sewing, knitting and beading. The only thing that was missing was macrame, which is exactly how the handle of the satchel is made. My brain automatically triggered some distant associations to the Babylon, the only difference from the actual event is that the end result wasn't complete destruction and chaos, but quite the opposite- peace and creation. Time- 3AM. Worth of finishing the project! Ironically, I will still have to make another one for the customer. So this is Indie Babylonian who is currently residing on my shelf. Speaking of shelf...I MUST come up with a display shelf idea as I am currently running out of space.

 

Итак, период желания шить и нежелания писать прошел. За этот период сшилось 6 тильд и два зайца. Так же я довязала свой шарф и связала шапку Максиму. Рукодельно — творческий период увенчался разработкой собственной выкройки зайца. Ну а теперь по порядку.

Сразу же как я закончила гусыню (в 11 ночи), которую кстати купили через несколько дней, взялась я собрать воедино тильдовского медведя. Лежали уже набитые лапы и туловище. Нужен был мишка с сиреневым сердечком и ушками для моей соседки. Ну думаю, сейчас быстренько пришью лапы и медведь готов. Пошла за иглой, на глаза попались пробные брюки от шоколадного зайца. Тому они малы оказались. Дай, думаю, примеряю на медведя. О, сели как влитые. Но снять уже не возможно, только если резать. А жалко. Тут же всплывает в памяти повязка на голову в оливково-зеленом цвете. Распорола резинку — как раз на два рукава. А из широкой части свитер сшила. И стоит она такая вся в моих любимых тонах — болотно-зеленых. У меня в гордеробе несколько брюк и маечек блузочек таких тонов. На что Ангелина сказала, когда я в очередной раз в магазине сняла с вешалки брюки цвета хакки чтобы померять — посмотри на себя, ты уже как Индиана Джонс выглядишь, и опять такие же штаны ухватила. Ну сами понимаете — имя ей — Инди! Ну тогда надо и сумку в таком же стили — под цвет ушей с кусочком повязки задекарированной бусинами. И тут уж понеслось — надо брошку, из такого же бисера. Сделано. Смотрю я на нее и думаю — все мое любимое рукоделие в одной игрушки поместилось — шитье, вязание, бисер. Надо еще до кучи макраме сплести. Так появилась ручка на сумке. И какое то отдаленное напоминание Вавилона пришло на ум. Только в отличии от Вавилона, событие произошло не разрушительное, а созидательное. Время — 3 ночи. Зато закончила медведя. А для соседки придется другого шить. Ну не получается у меня желание заказчика исполнить.

Вот такая Инди Вавилонская живет у меня на полочке. Кстати о полочке — надо что то придумать, куда их ставить. Места уже маловато.

Goose. Гусыня.

And so comes the time for us to get back to Tildas! Following the last sheep that I made, I had a burning desire to make a goose. I started one last year as my first attempt at Tildas, but since I didn't have a suitable fabric the end result left a lot to desire. Maksim was only 2 months old at the time, and the thought of going out to buy appropriate textiles didn't even occur to me. That is how all of the parts have come to reside at the back of the shelf. I finally took them out a couple of days ago and tossed them without an ounce of regret, finally making a new one in the process. I've also started on a pair of trousers and got the idea to put the ruffles on the bottom. And then on the straps. Adorable! The only thing missing was the pocket...with ruffles! And God himself led me to make the hat. At last came out this darling. Despite the fact that in the beginning I stuck to the true Tilda style with ivory fabric for the trousers and a gray-ish linen for the body, she still turned out so...bright and loud! Never in my life would I have the courage to pull off those colours, but its complete the opposite when it comes to the dolls. Let them strut it!

Вернемся к нашим баранам. Вернее Тильдам. Сразу же за овечкой возникло у меня желание сшить гуся. Начинала я его шить в прошлом году, это была моя первая попытка сшить тильду. Но подходящей ткани не нашлось, а из того что было, результат мне не понравился. Максиму тогда было только 2 месяца, и мысль ехать искать ткань мне не приходила. Так и пролежали запчасти в шкафу. Достала я их пару дней назад, без сожаления выбросила и сшила нового. Стала шить штанишки, и что то мне на ум пришла идея пришить рюшечки по низу. Потом и на лямки настрочила. Примерила — ляпота! Только кармана не хватает. С рюшечкой! Ну а уж на шапочку сам бог велел. И вышла у меня вот такая вот Гусыня. А ведь в начале я взяла рекомендованную ткань в бежево-белую полоску для штанишек и сероватый лен для тела, а в результате опять вырвиглаз! В жизни я такие цвета не ношу, а вот куколку в них нарядить я смелая. Ну пусть красуется!

Daisy!

And so, I've made another sheep, but in a completely different style. And of course, she's bright... yet again! But my oh my is she's quite a lady! Making her was an easy and smooth process, the incredibly warm March weather (+27C in Toronto!) has inspired the thought of summer and made me choose this white daisy covered fabric. And then came the name- Daisy! Looking at her just makes you want to squish her adorable "little" face. Of course Maksim could not pass up such an opportunity! This post is not so big because her cuteness speaks for itself!

 

Сшилась еще одна овечка, но в совершенно другом стиле. И конечно же яркая. Такая кокетливая девушка получилась. А шилась она легко и безпроблемно. Невероятно теплая погода для марта навеяла мысли о лете и тканюшка на платье нашлась сразу — в белую ромашку. Этсюда и имя — Дэйзи. Смотря на нее так и хочется потискать ее за мордочку. Ну и Максим конечно же не мог пройти мимо этого нежнейшего создания. Буду не многословна, очарование скажет все само за себя.

Rio,Rio, Rioritta! Рио, Рио, Риоритта!

Since I first started sewing tildas, the only one who came out true to its style- the calm pastels- was the second one- Katrina. And no matter how hard I tried to stay along that path, nothing turned out right, all of the dolls had turned out bright! Some you've seen before, some were given away as gifts and I have not had the opportunity to take their pictures. Maybe its the influence that winter had on me and the soul craved some light and colours?

And so I thought I'd start to sew a spring Easter-themed bunny- with the soft colours of grass and gentle rays of sun.

 

С момента моего первого опыта в шитье тильд, только первые два, а точнее вторая — Катрина, получилась в типично тильдовском, сдержанном пастельно-приглушонном тоне. И как бы я не хотела повторить этот же образ, ничего не выходит. Все куклы получаются яркими. Некоторые уже я показывала, а некоторые раздарились, и фоток не успела я сделать. Может это была зима, и душа требовала цвета и света?

Ну все думаю, буду шить весенне-пасхальную зайку — цвета нежной весенней травы и ласкового солнышка.

 

Those who sew dolls, know, that in the process of its creation, each and every one of them forms a character and commands its demands. Some of them are polite- fast and easy to make, others have a temper, which means you must follow them vim- change their nose, eyes, paws etc. And let's not even mention the outfit!

And so, this is my little dialog with this bunny.

• Where did you put my paw?! I don't like it there, Move it further!

• Never mind, put it back, I liked it better there.

• Why did you take this button, it doesn't match. I don't like this thread either!

At last, after the 5^th attempt, the body was done. Next came the clothes- the colours of the grass and sunshine. Wait...what is this? Instead of gentle spring I got a Brazilian flag! Wow, is she ever so bright?! Perhaps I'll add some orange to slightly resemble the carrots. And a beret to protect from the sun.

• Why don't you want to be a spring!? Why are you an exotic beauty straight from the beaches of Rio De Janeiro? I'll call you Brazilian spring.

And then Angelina joined the conversation- Mom, there is no spring in Brazil, it's always summer! Call her Rio!

• Yay! I'm Rio! Let me pose for some pictures, Don't worry about the gloomy snow outside, I'll shine so bright that you won't even need a flash!

 

Кто шьет кукол, тот знает, что каждая игрушка в процессе создания приобретает характер и диктует свои условия. Какие то покладистые, шьются легко и быстро, какие то с темпераментом, и приходится подстраиваться под них, перешивая носы, глаза, лапы. А что уж говорить об одежде!? Процесс создания со стороны может показаться бредом сумасшедшего, разговаривающего сам с собой. Итак, мой небольшой диалог с зайкой.

• Куда лапу пришила, там не хочу, двигай ее дальше!

• Нет, верни назад, там было лучше!

• Ты какую пуговицу взяла, она не в тон, и нитку эту не хочу?

Ну хорошо, тело сшито, после переделывания лап 5 раз. Дальше очередь одежды. Цвет травы и солнца. Так, что это мы имеем — вместо нежной весны имеем Бразильский флаг! Ух яркая получилась! Надо оранжевого добавить, хоть что то будет напоминать морковку. Зайка все таки. Ну и беретик от солнца что бы защищал.

-Ну почему ты не хочешь быть весной?

-Почему ты солнечная красотка с пляжа Рио де Жанейро? Назову тебя — Бразильская весна.

Тут подключается Ангелина — Мама, в Бразилии весны не бывает, там всегда лето! Назови ее Рио!

• Ура, ура! Я Рио! Сейчас тебе позировать буду. И не боись, что за окном пасмурно и снег идет, щас так буду светится, что и вспышка не нужна будет!

 

• What is this, a bucket? And what am I supposed to do with this, milk cows? Give me some flowers!

 

• Это что, ведро? И что мне с ним делать, коров доить? Ты мне сюда цветочков давай!

And this is Maksim, he always loves the pretty girls.

Meet, Lavanda! Знакомьтесь, это Лаванда!

Meet, Lavanda! My first actual order since the opening of the blog. An acquaintance of mine named Angel put in an order for a bear, actually, she liked the bear that I made for Maksim as well as the sheep from a couple of posts ago. She compromised by combining both, bear as a whole, but with the signature heart and the beige ears like the sheep. With lavender scent! And so, I sewed the pieces, stuffed it, put the heart inside and... Since the scent is lavender, lilac colour is a must! And since Angel is so petite and light, an airy gentle-lilac skirt was in store. So where will the beige ears go?! No way. They too, must be lilac. The pink heart worked well in this case, just like a top.

 

Знакомьтесь, это Лаванда! Мой первый реальный заказ с момента открытия моего блога. Знакомая девушка по имени Энджел (Angel), заказала сшить мишку. Ей понравился медведь, который я сделала для Максима и также понравилась овечка. Она решила заказать медведя, но с сердечком и бежевыми ушками как у овечки. И что бы пах лавандой. Сшила детали, наполнила полиэстровым наполнителем, вложила сердечка и тут ….. Раз лаванда, значит должен и цвет соответствовать — нежно сиреневый. И девушка вся такая хрупкая, стройненькая, воздушная. Значит будет юбочка нежная и сиреневая. А какие же бежевые ушки сюда? Непойдет. Будут они тоже сиреневые. Ну сердечко розовое вроде бы нормально, роль топика сыграло.

What came first, the chicken or the egg? Что появилось первое – курица или яицо?

What came first, the chicken or the egg? I won't dip into the philosophy of the question, because in my case, its the egg. Chicken in somewhere in the middle of the To-Do list.

I found several patterns on the internet, but none of them pleased me. Eggs were either oval, or round the size of a ball. But I wanted the real thing! Sharper at one end, more round at the bottom, same size as an actual chicken egg, not an emu!

And so, I took a regular egg and put a rubber band over it like so.

Что было вначале — курица или яицо? Но в филосовский вопрос я углублятся не буду, так как у меня однозначно яйцо. Курица пока только в проекте.

Поискав по интернету выкроек, начала я шить. Но результат что то меня не устроил. Отшив 4 разных выкройки все получились овалами или шарами. А мне хотелось настоящего! Что бы с одной стороны повыпуклее, с другой поострее. И размером с куринное, а не страусинное. Задумано-сделано.

Взяла я обычное яйцо — куринное. Сверху одела резиночки вот так.

It’s so Fluffy!

So, 3 weeks have passed since my last post. During this time I've finished several projects, just need some time to organize and get it all together. I'll begin with this Tilda bear that I made for Maksim's First birthday. I decided to make him after Maksim showed some interest in the sheep; perhaps the soft and fluffy texture appeals to him! Button-threat connection for the paws is much stronger and safer for the baby as opposed to hand-stitching. The masculinity of the bear is evident through the colour of the ribbon and ears.

Итак, прошло 3 недели с моего последнего сообщения. Сшилось за это время кое что, теперь надо все разобрать по полочкам и привести в божеский вид. Ну а начну я с Тильда медведя. Его я сшила для Максима на его первый день рождения. После того, как он проявил сильный интерес к овечке. Наверное ребенку приятно держать мягкое и пушистое в руках. Ну и пуговично-нитяное крепление покрепче, чем просто пришитые руки. Принадлежность к мужскому полу у игрушки определяется по цвету ушей и ленточки.

Curly Sue. Кудряшка Сью

Sheep – a heard animal. Goes where you point.

So does this Curly Sue. She will follow you, not chase you. Actually...no, you won't let go of her.

Cotton terry coat warms your hands and comfortably caresses your cheek. The feel of the soft curls make you go deep in your thoughts about upcoming spring. Sit her down next to you and knit, or drink hot chocolate.

You can also give her to someone as a present. She will look nice in any interior – kitchen or bath, cottage or living room.

Curly Sue is made from cotton terry fabric and cotton prints. Ecologically friendly!

 

Овечка, животное стадное. Будет идти, куда укажут.

Так и эта Кудряшка Сью будет следовать за вами, нет, преследовать. Нет, вы сами ее из рук не выпустите.

Шубка из махровой ткани приятно ложится в руку. Хочется прижаться к ней щекой и почувствовав мягкость кудряшек углубиться в свои мысли о грядущей весне. Посадить ее рядом и вязать, или пить горячий шоколад.

А еще можно подарить такую очаровашку кому нибудь. Она хорошо впишется в интерьер кухни или ванной, загородный дом или зал.

Кудряшка Сью сшита из хлопковой махровой ткани, отделка из хлопка. Экологически чиста.

 

Year of the Dragon

And so, the year of the Dragon begins. To honour this I've made 3 dragons for my friends.

For my neighbour and dearest friend Judy, I've made a small, cute dragon with wings in traditional oriental style - red and yellow with golden thread embellishment. This cutie pie now resides on a cozy shelf.

Итак, год Дракона полноправно вступил в силу! По этому поводу у меня сшились 3 дракончика в подарок моим друзьям.

Для Джуди, моей соседки и другу я сделала маленького крылатого дракончика в китайском стиле. Красный с желтым и отстрочен золотыми нитками. Вот такой малыш поселился у нее на полке.

The other two were made from one pattern. Simple,yet adorable. One is traditional – red and gold, the other– eccentric – green with an apple print. Like a horse with apple (untranslatable Russian folklore).

Еще два были сшиты по другой выкройке. Простые и очаровательные. Один традиционный — красный с золотым и другой — необычный — в яблочко. Ну чем не конь в яблоках.
